Libraries and bookstores are getting ready to begin their summer reading programs!
Along with enjoying all the things summer brings, it's a great time to get some extra reading in. Curled up on the couch or bed, sitting outside in the sun or shade, it doesn't matter where you are: You can enjoy reading anywhere and everywhere.
We love our library's summer reading program and the kids get so excited as they reach their goals to win various prizes. Be sure to check out your local library to register for their summer reading program. If you don't have the Beanstack app, you can download it to log your progress or make sure you grab a hard copy of your library's reading log. Use the links to enroll and get more info for what's in store for each library's summer reading!

But wait, it's not just libraries that have summer reading fun!
Barnes and Noble : Participants complete reading a designated number of books and complete a Reading Journal to earn free books. You can take your journal in between July 1st and August 31st.
Half Priced Books : This reading camp gives you access to reading lists, activity ideas, and coloring sheets throughout summer. You can visit your local HPB to get a copy of your camper's Summer Reading Log, cool camp stickers, and information on how to earn $5 Bookworm Bucks in June and July.
Chuck-E-Cheese : Earn 10 free play points or tokens for reading.
Scholastic : It began back in May and goes through September 12th. Join this digital world and summer reading by downloading an app.
